Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an experienced ShopMechanic based out of Macon, GA location. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years related experience (preference). Main Responsibilities

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach and signal with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Employee must not be color-blind as he must be able to differentiate colors when working on colored electrical wires. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Employees must have 20/40 vision, either naturally or with corrective lenses. Hearing should be excellent or corrected by audio device. Must be able to perform medium-to-heavy work, lifting heavy vehicle parts (with the help of a crane) of 60 pounds or more. Must be able to work while lying on a creeper underneath a vehicle and must have unrestricted manual dexterity of hands and wrists, as well as lower and upper arms. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Position requires exposure to extreme weather conditions, both inside and outside. Must not have allergies connected to fuel, lubrication oil and grease, or fumes from the engines.
