Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Manager Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Process Control. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence by bridging the gap between data-driven insights and process optimization. You will lead cross-functional teams to design, monitor, and govern global business processes, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with corporate quality policies.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Governance





    • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the BI and Process Control teams; resolve internal conflicts and build a high-performing, unified unit.
    • Community Management: Organize and facilitate the Business Process Community to structure and improve process architecture, methods, and tools.
    • Executive Interface: Act as the primary link between the Business Process Community and Leadership-sharing the vision, raising awareness, and escalating critical issues.
    • Change Management: Lead end-to-end process deployment and facilitate change management from initial definition to final implementation.




2. Process Engineering & Optimization





    • Architecture Design: Define and improve the Airbus U.S. business process architecture to ensure transverse consistency and alignment with corporate goals.
    • Continuous Improvement: Design processes to optimize flow, reduce variability, and improve capability; identify root causes of deviations and implement corrective actions.
    • Validation & Documentation: Frequently evaluate existing processes and ensure rigorous documentation, testing, and validation of all new procedures.
    • Master Data Management: Lead the material and master data management strategy to ensure data integrity across systems.




3. Business Intelligence & Analytics





    • Data Impact: Deliver relevant, reliable, and timely data to stakeholders to drive faster, high-impact business decisions.
    • Risk & Monitoring: Develop process governance and monitoring methods; perform risk assessments and deliver comprehensive data analytics reports.
    • Transverse Consistency: Ensure all proposed process changes are consistent across different functions and align with the global quality policy.




4. Operational Excellence & Compliance



  • Execution Oversight: Monitor cross-functional operational processes to ensure accurate and timely execution.
  • Issue Resolution: Rapidly resolve blocking points in business operations; manage off-nominal cases and speed up operations via SAP background transactions when required.
  • Certification Support: Support AS9100/ISO certifications and other company-level transformation projects.
  • Organizational Training: Provide business process training across the organization to ensure standardized adoption of tools and methods.


Additional Responsibilities: 10%

  • Process Owners of Programs, Production Engineering, Supply Chain, General Procurement, HR, Quality, Logistics, IT, Finance, Manufacturing Design, Industrial Planning, Manufacturing & testing execution, Configuration.
  • SAP Architect.


Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:



  • Required: BA/BS degree in Science, Engineering, or related discipline OR equivalent experience
  • Preferred: MBA or master's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience


Experience:



  • Required:
  • At least five years of experience with SAP ERP System. Strong knowledge of the Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM) and Quality Management (QM) modules. Basic knowledge of the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Plant Maintenance (PM) SAP modules.
  • Experience using the Atlassian JIRA/Confluence tool sets
  • Proficient in Excel with experience in creating automated reports. Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications including Visio, and able to quickly master new computerized tools including Jira, SCADA system, LMS, Power BI.
  • Preferred:

    • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems


  • Strong knowledge of the business processes for the following domains: manufacturing & testing engineering, production planning, manufacturing & testing execution, quality management, procurement, logistics, material management.
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering, process simulations, and process related standards.
  • Proficient in communicating across various organizational levels, cultures, and departments.
  • Key Project Management skills:

    • Interpersonal skills to drive projects within an international environment,
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and coordination skills,
    • Strong networking and relations building skills,
    • Experienced in problem solving and troubleshooting.
