Pay Rate: $16.90 per hour

Shift: Day Shift

Job Description:

• Responsible for packing or loading poultry breast or thigh meat. Work on an elevated platform and place bag or product on a moving conveyor or packaging machine. Loading or unloading logs of deli meat. Visual inspection of meat on a conveyor. May be require to work near an X-Ray machine.
• Responsible for weighing bags of product: stationed at a scale where each bag of product is weighed.
• Responsible for removing fat from turkey skin: Use air powered blades (rotating circular shaped knife) to remove fat from skin in a clean and skin station. Discard bad skins into a discard pile.
• Responsible for making boxes: responsible for forming case boxes from cardboard blank pieces.
• Responsible for loading cases: responsible for loading bagged products into cardboard cases.
• Responsible for sealing cases: responsible for using handheld tape dispenser which seals cases of product.
• Responsible for placing sealed packages on racks. Need to push and pull racks up to 2000lbs with help.
• Don Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Using pressure hose to wash empty containers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, reach, handle things with hands, use fingers, perform moves causing flexion/extension of your extremities and or torso, stand, walk, climb, balance and stoop during shift.
