Summary:

The Supervisor - Consumer Finance Specialist will oversee the coordination of wraparound and representative payee funding accounts for clients. This role involves managing a team of Consumer Finance Specialists, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with banking representatives. The Supervisor will also focus on performance improvement activities related to client access and financial flow, leveraging organizational resources to execute these activities. Additionally, the Supervisor will provide direct service to clients.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Post-secondary education in a similar or related field required, or equivalent years of experience in a related field.
  2. License/Certifications: MHRT-C certification or eligibility to receive certification required. Valid Driver's license required.
  3. Experience: One year of experience working with the specific client population to be served required. Accounting experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Ability to establish effective relationships with external stakeholders, such as the Social Security Administration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and representative payee processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in accounting and financial reporting. Ability to assess and understand local banking services and resources. Working knowledge of Medicaid programs and regulations. Working knowledge of grant funding associated with community billing. Ability to work flexible hours. Exceptional ability to build positive, supportive relationships with clients.
