This individual must be able to multitask, coordinate with department managers and staff, and organize individual schedules for Nursing and MHA staffing for effective hospital functioning. Staffing Coordinator must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Benefits:
EEO Statement Notice Qualifications Education: BA/BS in psychology, communications, or a related human services field preferred. Experience: Experience working within staffing, UKG and other scheduling systems preferred. Psychiatric setting experience preferred. Additional Requirements: May be required to work occasional overtime. 1. Provide daily staffing of RN's, LPNs and MHA's 2. Process PDO requests and ensure coverage for employees taking PDO, in collaboration with Nursing Management. 3. Process call-ins/absences and ensure coverage. 4. Ensure training/orientation of Nursing staff is current. 5. Review time sheets daily and make corrections as needed for the Payroll Clerk. 6. Maintain up to date andaccuratenursing staff phone lists. 7. Adhere to facility standards concerning conduct, dress,attendanceand punctuality. 8. Maintain confidentiality of facility employees and patient information. 9. Provide clerical support to the Nursing Department. Filing. 10. Ability to work as a team player. 11. Ability to accept direction and adhere to policies and procedures. 12. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. 13. Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position. | |
