The Chief Nursing Officer is a key member of the Compass Intervention Center Leadership Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric nursing strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The CNO participates in the hospital's strategic planning and contributes to the achievement of institutional goals and objectives. Qualifications, the incumbent develops and provides oversight for the hospital-wide education and training program, and assists department managers in providing education and training needs of staff based on requirements of the Joint Commission, OSHA, CDC, State and Federal guidelines.

For additional information visit www.uhs.com. Qualifications Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing is required; Master Degree required. Credentials: Licensure by the Tennessee Board of Registered Nursing required. Experience: Minimum of three years' experience in a behavioral health setting. Demonstrate the ability to provide training and education. Knowledge: Working knowledge of Joint Commission standards, OSHA and State of Tennessee requirements for employee training and education. Must be knowledgeable of and abide by HIPAA regulations with regard to protected health information as defined by HIPAA and ABS. Uses and/or discloses on a daily basis verbal, written PHI in order to perform job duties, as pertains to patients' financial, demographic and/or clinical data; and/or employees' financial, demographic and/or clinical data.
