*Columbus, OH Preferred Location* *MUST HAVE Hospital/Medical Center Build Out Experience as an IT Project Manager! This is REQUIRED!* *Description* The project is the largest planned expansion since 2008. It will increase the hospital's inpatient and critical care capacity which will create 200 permanent clinical jobs as well as hundreds of construction jobs. This is a 4 year effort, $300 Million dollar program. The project is currently in the planning phases and will be designed to increase the size of the hospital's first and second floors, add patient beds and services and allow for future growth. The expansion will add significant square footage to the hospital and renovate a portion of the existing space. The investment in the project will be funded through philanthropic and community support and capital investment. This Program/Project manager will plan and manage scope, schedule, and budget for defined deliverables in accordance with the IS PMO project management standards and in accordance with service level agreements at agreed upon budgets. Experience & Credentials Hospital or Medical Center Build Out 8+ years in IT project management, with 4+ years in healthcare IT Proven leadership of multi million dollar projects across hospital systems Technical & Strategic Skills * Deep knowledge of EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech), interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), and data governance * Experience implementing risk management, incident response, and disaster recovery protocols * Familiarity with DevOps, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies in regulated environments Leadership & Communication * Executive-level reporting and stakeholder engagement across clinical, technical, and administrative teams * Track record of change management and digital transformation in healthcare settings * Strong presentation skills for board-level updates and cross-functional alignment Responsibilities And Duties: 65% Project Execution - Responsible for managing technology projects and/or programs running across one or multiple Lines of Business targeted at achieving overall business goals. They will be responsible projects from initiation through implementation including multiple software development methods. Establishes project requirements, priorities and deadlines. Manages budgets of the project, monitors project progress and adjusts resources and priorities: Establishes project requirements, priorities and deadlines Ensures project is completed in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and other relevant IS PMO guidelines Coordinates resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects Manages budget for assigned projects, monitors project progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly Develops plans and manages interdependencies between development teams and business units Publishes project status and executive reporting 20% Communication - Being able to articulate exactly what is needed in the project, is critical, alongside the ability to actively play a vital role as a Business Analyst to gather all of the information. We are looking for great communication skills and someone who can deal well ambiguity and is a self-starter, knows when to escalate when needed. 15% Influence without Authority - Interacts with senior leadership and cross line of business resources to deliver projects and programs Coaches and mentors less experienced team members *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $95.00/hr.
