Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing direct patient care and clerical support to ensure a safe, organized, and patient-centered environment at Amery Hospital & Clinic. CNAs support the mission, vision, guiding principles, and standards of behavior of AHC while assisting nursing staff with patient care activities, coordinating services, and responding promptly to patient needs. CNAs provide a wide range of services including patient assistance, vital sign monitoring, documentation, unit organization, customer reception, and support of daily nursing operations. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support high-quality patient care and satisfaction.

Work Schedule:

Day: (5:30a-6p)

Mid: (8a-8:30p)

Noc: (5:30p-6a)

Shorter shifts are available to pick up as well. Casual position to assist in covering vacation and sick calls.

Days vary depending on department need.

Required Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent and further healthcare coursework.

CNA certification required

BLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications

3 years CNA experience preferred
