Part-time 24 hours pay period | Licensed Practical Nurse

Schedule:

Positions available include working every other weekend and every other holiday

Available Shifts:

  1. 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (24 hours per 2 weeks pay period)

Pay Range: $31.09 - $42.19 per hour (based on experience)

The Difference You'll Make

  1. Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders
  2. Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring residents for effectiveness and response
  3. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic health record systems
  4. Observe, assess, and report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Manager, providers, and family members, and assist with follow-up care as needed
  5. Coordinate and provide guidance to Nursing Assistants / NARs to support quality resident care and team workflow
  6. Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and state and federal regulatory standards
  7. Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate care environment for residents, families, and team members
  8. Demonstrate professionalism, strong clinical judgment, and excellent customer service in daily practice

Qualifications:

Education Required:

  1. Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
  2. Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing

Experience Required:

  1. Minimum one year of nursing experience

Preferred:

  1. Experience in senior living, long-term care, assisted living, or memory care settings

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
  2. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  3. Demonstrated clinical judgment, professionalism, and integrity
  4. Strong commitment to compassionate, resident-centered customer service
  5. Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including assisting with resident transfers (50+ lbs.)
  6. Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
