*Workplace Type:* OnSite *Job Type:* Contract *Pay:* *$21/hr* *Overview* We're hiring a *Medical Records Clerk* to support a *Busy Specialty Medical Center* seeing *120-200 patients daily* across multiple specialties. This role is critical to keeping patient information *accurate, organized, and compliant*, ensuring providers and staff have what they need to deliver highquality care in a fastpaced clinical environment. If you're detailoriented, organized, and comfortable working behind the scenes to support patient care, this role was built for you. *What You'll Be Doing* * Maintain, organize, and manage patient medical records in compliance with *HIPAA* * Review records for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation * Scan, upload, and index medical documents into the *EMR system* * Retrieve and distribute medical records for providers and authorized requests * Process medical record requests from patients, providers, and insurance companies * Handle *Release of Information (ROI)* requests efficiently and securely * Collaborate with front and back office teams to ensure smooth record flow * Support daily administrative and operational tasks related to health information management *MustHave Skills* * Medical records or healthcare administrative experience * EMR/EHR proficiency * Knowledge of medical terminology * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality * Excellent organizational and multitasking skills *NicetoHave Skills* * Ambulatory or specialty clinic experience * ROI processing experience * Scanning and document management experience * Strong customer service and communication skills *Schedule* *Monday-Friday | 8:30am-5:00pm* No nights.
