Widener University is currently seeking a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor of Mathematics. Reporting to the dean, this role is a full-time non-tenure-track one-year visiting position beginning in Fall 2026. The Science Division of Widener University's College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor of Mathematics beginning in Fall 2026. The successful candidate must be prepared to teach 100 and 200-level mathematics courses including algebra, precalculus, and calculus. The teaching load is 12 credits per semester (fall and spring), taught 3-4 days per week. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. A Ph.D. or ABD in Mathematics or a closely related field is preferred. Strong candidates with a master's degree in mathematics will also be considered and will be hired as a Visiting Senior Lecturer.
