  • SLA: Maintain resin tanks, calibrate UV lasers/light sources, and ensure clean optical paths.

  • PolyJet: Perform print head cleanings, monitor waste levels, and handle high-precision multi-material cartridges.

3. Advanced Post-Processing & Quality Control

  • Execute technology-specific post-processing: support removal (FDM/PolyJet), bead-blasting (SLS), and IPA washing/UV curing (SLA).

  • Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality against design specifications.

  • Maintain detailed logs of machine performance, maintenance history, and print failures.

4. Inventory & Facility Management

  • Manage stock levels for filaments, powders, resins, and specialized PolyJet materials.

  • Ensure a safe working environment, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals (resins/IPA) and powders.

  • Coordinate with equipment vendors for advanced repairs and service contracts.

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in an additive manufacturing environment.

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the distinct mechanics and material behaviors of FDM, SLS, SLA, and PolyJet.

  • Software Proficiency: Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Autodesk) and industry-standard slicing tools.

  • Problem Solving: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to diagnose printer hardware issues.

  • Communication: Ability to collaborate with engineers and designers to advise on "Design for Additive Manufacturing" (DfAM).
