As a Security Officer Armed Area Patrol Driver in Laurinburg, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by post.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and/or restricted areas to help support controlled access, verify authorization, and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Support order at the location by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with site personnel and/or law enforcement when needed, and following post orders for security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
