Your responsibilities Position Overview: thyssenkrupp Uhde USA is currently seeking a Director Business Development and Sales for our Houston, TX office location. The Director Business Development and Sales is responsible for leading the existing sales team, identifying and developing new opportunities as well as managing the sales process until contract closure for service, revamp and new build projects in the area of hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, fertilizer, nitric acid, and gasification plants in the United States and Canada. This role will have strong focus on Uhde's proprietary technologies and sales of Uhde's engineering and procurement services as well as the service business for existing plants to further develop our equipment and plant revamp business. The Director Business Development and Sales will report directly to the President of tk Uhde USA and align closely with the Global Head of Sales. The role will involve close communication with key personnel in Technology, Engineering, Project Management, Commercial Project Management, Procurement and Legal. Frequent travel to customer sites and industry conferences in North America will be required. Periodic travel to our licensing and technology division in Germany will also be necessary to host client meetings at headquarters. Responsibilities and Duties:
