About us

To deliver strategic procurement operations within the business area that they are aligned to. The role will own the delivery and update of Category Strategies identifying future commercial opportunities and direction.

  • Develop and deliver a portfolio of Category Strategies and a procurement plan for their category area.
  • Profile category area characteristics, researches supply markets, suppliers and assesses trends, opportunities and risks for the entire category area.
  • Deliver value by planning and managing tender events for goods and services required by the business.
  • Effective forward planning by identifying future requirements.
  • Lead engagement of key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Scope and develop regional and global contractual agreements that meet the regional and global category and customer.
  • Drive supplier relationship management and contract relationship management.
Qualifications
  • Degree standard or equivalent experience - relevant professional qualification (MCIPS)
  • Previous experience of similar type roles - MCIPS preferable
