Position"s Contributions to Work Group:
-Drive global packaging alignment between six MPN facilities
-Provide packaging solutions for robotic automation at MWLC
-New Part Setup (packaging) for MWLC
-Kit packaging setup and maintenance

Typical task breakdown:
-This position requires a mix of individual task completion, participation on project teams, and reporting out to leaders.
-Specifying or determining packaging specifications for high-volume material in corrugated cartons.
-Ensuring quality of indirect materials.
-Collaborating with shop floor employees to improve packaging of parts.
-Working cross functionally with other groups to make sure packaging fulfils quality and safety needs.

Education & Experience Required:
-Years of experience: Bachelor"s Degree in Engineering (don"t necessarily require packaging experience if they have an engineering degree) or relevant industrial packaging design experience (1-2 years)
-Degree requirement: Bachelor"s Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain or relevant industrial packaging design experience

-Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
-Analytical thinking
-Data analysis (SQL, Python, SAS, etc.)
-2D/3D design (Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD/etc.)
