Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center (VBPC) is a 100-bed freestanding psychiatric hospital located near the beautiful resort area of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a short 10-minute drive to the oceanfront. VBPC offers acute psychiatric and substance abuse services for adults 18 years and older. The hospital is accessible 24 hours a day for admissions and includes mental health assessments and an excellent referral network. Treatment programs and specialty services at VBPC include substance abuse, dual diagnosis and partial hospitalization.

Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center currently has an opening for Part Time Chaplin.Candidates must be available to work occassionally on weekends and holidays.

Provides pastoral services to patients. Interacts with patients, patient families, clinical team, and community resources to establish relationships and provide positive customer service.

Education, Training, Experience and Licenses/Registrations Required:

3-5 years parish or congregational setting

1/4 year of Clinical Pastoral Education
