Responsibilities

The Specialty Asset Support position is responsible for assisting the Specialty Asset team with the administration of unique, non-publicly traded assets held and managed by ONB in a fiduciary capacity, including interests in trust-owned real estate, closely-held businesses, mineral, oil and gas, loans and notes, life insurance, and tangible assets. This position will be responsible for supporting the execution of policies and procedures for all Specialty assets titled or registered to accounts where ONB has fiduciary or reporting responsibility. The Support Specialist will work with internal partners to process and track real estate tax payments, monitor rent receipts and other income associated with real estate held in Fiduciary accounts, assist with insurance renewals and claim processing, obtain and update asset valuations and inspections as appropriate, assist with the management of mineral interests, assist with the monitoring, tracking and collection of past due loan note payments, and complete other duties as assigned by the Specialty Asset Manager. This role will demonstrate some technical knowledge about the valuation, management, and registration of specialty assets. In addition, the position will require an understanding and awareness of trust administration, operations processing, workflow systems and Trust Insurance Management systems.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $18.25/hr. - $29.75/hr.. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications and the career level at which the position is filled.

Key Accountabilities

    Support the Sr. Wealth Specialty Assets Manager and Specialty Assets team with effective administration of all Wealth Specialty assets.
  • Assist with development and implementation of strategies and processes to improve efficient management of assets.
  • Assist with tracking and reporting of Specialty Assets as assigned.
  • Maintain compliance with fiduciary procedures and required documentation.
  • Has the ability to resolve account issues and assist with complex fiduciary administration.
  • Assist the Specialty Asset team with administrative reviews of specialty assets.
  • Arrange meetings with clients and vendors to coordinate specialty asset management services.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred;
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of trust administration, unique asset management, or related experience.
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Operate effectively in an environment that stresses both individual accountability and team-based performance.
  • Desire a team environment, collaborating with experienced professionals from multiple disciplines to deliver high quality client service.
  • Thorough working knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and trust accounting systems.
  • Knowledge of fiduciary standards and practices, and operational systems.
