Qualifications

VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared SME 3 or 4

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:



  • USMC SIGINT/Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems (to include military occupational specialty training), Technical Training in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.


Experience:



  • Twelve (12) to (15) years of hands-on experience with supporting SIGINT/EW System projects to include three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or military experience with SIGINT systems.
  • TS/SCI level Clearance required.


Primary Duties:



  • Provide functional and technical guidance to engineers, team members, and customers to develop capabilities that meet USMC operational requirements. Evaluate technologies for operational suitability and program adoption.
  • Support the research and development, test and evaluation, fielding, documentation development, configuration management, software engineering and integration, training, fielding and sustainment, cybersecurity, and program management of WIP projects
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including schedules, milestones, and deliverables, integrating technical insights from SIGINT, and EW to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain programmatic documentation, e.g. WBS, PMP, etc. as well as, weekly, monthly, and quarterly customer-facing reports such as Task Order Status Reports, Staffing Plan Reports, and other contractual deliverables.
  • Conduct risk assessment to identify and mitigate potential risks to contract task performance.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies, considering the complexities of electromagnetic environments and the tactical needs of end-users.
  • Monitor technical performance, cost and schedule based on the requirements.
  • Participate in, prepare for, and conduct program reviews pertaining to Government projects/programs.
  • Translate customer requirements into functionality and ensure developed capability meets Quality standards.


Job Description:

Seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) 3 or 4 to support the Warfighter Integration Program (WIP) efforts for the United States Marine Corps Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) programs. The SME provides functional and technical guidance to engineers, team members, and customers to develop capabilities that meet USMC operational requirements, as well as support the research and development, test and evaluation, fielding, documentation development, configuration management, software engineering and integration, training, fielding and sustainment, cybersecurity, and program management of WIP projects.

Essential Duties of the Job:



  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face

  • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
