Position Overview The Hospitalist Scholar role is a structured one-year academic development pathway designed for early-career internal medicine faculty. This position balances clinical service with protected time for mentorship and skill acquisition in clinical teaching, quality improvement (QI), research, scholarship, and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS). Pay Range: $100,000-104,000; depending on education/qualifications/experience. As a Common Paymaster Faculty position, pay will be split between dual appointments at the University of Minnesota & MPhysicians.
