PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $199,300.00-$243,800.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $155,200.00 - $288,000.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:
As a Director of Product Management on the Digital Banking team, you'll be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and delivery of the product roadmap within one or more key products or capabilities within Digital Banking (which includes post-authentication experiences within mobile and desktop banking for both consumer and business banking). This includes defining priorities, strategies, approaches, and vision necessary to help the credit union achieve its growth, memberengagementand member experience objectives.

As part of the Digital Banking team, you will play a key role in executing an ongoing transformation of our digital platforms to modernize our capabilities, continuously improve member experiences, and accelerate innovation. Theinitialfocus for this Director will be strategic projects related to evolving our digital banking experiences and ways of working, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure the success of our transformation efforts and to drive member and business impact.

We'reseeking candidateslocatedin Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Arizona, or Texas, with a strong preference for those in the Greater Seattle area. Team members based in Seattle typically work onsite at our Tukwila office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Candidateslocatedoutside the Seattle area should be prepared to travel to Tukwila, WAapproximately onceper month for two full working days onsite at the Tukwila Financial Center.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Product Vision & Strategy:You'll define, guide, and oversee the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery for complex digital banking products and strategic transformation initiatives,ensuring alignment with BECU's growth and member experience goals.
  • Strategic Decision-Making:You'll drive informed, data-backed decisions across the product lifecycle, balancing member needs, business priorities, and long-term platform evolution.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:You'll partner closely with technology, design, analytics, operations, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, close gaps, and implement strategies that improve digital experiences and ways of working.
  • Member-Centered Discovery:You'll evaluate feedback, research, and insights to identify product opportunities, integrating the voice of the member into product strategies and sharing recommendations broadly across the organization.
  • Ways of Working & Process Improvement:You'll lead improvements to product management processes, ensuring teams leverage research, industry best practices, and effective prioritization to improve delivery velocity and outcomes.
  • Metrics & Analytics:You'll define and monitor success metrics for digital banking products and capabilities, strengthening analytics practices and creating accountability for product and team goals.
  • Transformation Enablement:You'll provide thought leadership onindustry trends, digital banking evolution, and modern product practices to support BECU's ongoing platform transformation.
  • Financial & Vendor Management:You'll oversee product financials, including projections, budgets, and expense reporting, while managing and maintaining relationships with key vendors and industry partners.
  • Design & Experience Collaboration:You'll collaborate with Designto drive discovery, research, and the delivery of cohesive experience journeys across member and employee touchpoints.
  • People Leadership & Development:You'll mentor and coach individuals and teams, provide ongoing feedback, support professional growth, and foster strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a technology, business, or related discipline
  • 8+ years of product management or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience
  • Financial services experiencerequired
  • Experience overseeing all phases of the product development lifecycle
  • Proven experience leadingcrossfunctionalteams
  • Demonstrated ability to develop product strategies informed by the voice of the customer
  • Experience managing andmaintainingvendor relationships
  • Experience improving product development processes, ways of working, and development velocity
  • Comfortoperatingin environments with ambiguity, change, and evolving priorities

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Digital bankingexpertisestrongly preferred
  • Provenability to proactivelyidentifybusiness and customer needs, navigate obstacles, and develop solutions with minimal supervision
  • Experiencewith open banking conceptsand shaping open banking strategyacross product, technology, compliance, and thirdparty partnerships.
