Job Description

TITLE: Process Conformity/Quality Management System Specialist



DUTIES: Ensure alignment between plant operations and manufacturing operational standards. Conduct process audits to ensure all vehicle assembly plants conform with regional and corporate process standards. Perform read across of findings to assembly plants in order to ensure compliance across all plants. Ensure that all internal auditors in plants are calibrated to the same standards. Perform continuous updating of the process audit checklist. Roll out global Quality Management System (QMS) standards to all plants in the North America (NA) region. Ensure alignment between global QMS standards and regional level 2 standards. Identify training gaps of the auditors. Organize specific training session for plants on QMS standards. Conduct QMS audits for all plants in the NA region and read across action to all plants. **Up to 25-50% Domestic and International travel required**

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related and 5 years of experience in Process Conformity/Quality Management System Specialist or related. Alternatively, Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field and 7 years of experience in Process Conformity/Quality Management System Specialist or related. Experience must include: Operate within Manufacturing environment; Conducting Audit activities; Applying Plant Production Methods and Processes including BIW, Pain, G.Assembly, Plastics; Applying QMS Operational Standards and SPW Fundamentals; Reviewing and implementing specific automotive regulations based on Government/Regulatory compliance; Experience in utilizing residual torque methods, programming and data collection to control production with predictive analytics and drive strategic decisions; Applying qualitative and quantitative research methods in order to drive improvements in the human element of inspection and quality control.
