In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support control of access to sensitive areas in accordance with site policies and post orders.
  • Maintain a visible presence while handling security-related concerns, following weapon handling protocols, and preparing clear, timely reports of patrol activity, incidents, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree, is required.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
