What You'll Do

    Safety is E2 Optics' number one Core Value. All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Update schedules regularly based on field progress, contractor input, and project changes
  • Track and analyze schedule performance, including critical path activities and key milestones
  • Support the identification of schedule risks, delays, and potential impacts to project timelines
  • Coordinate with project teams to gather progress updates and validate schedule accuracy
  • Generate weekly and monthly schedule reports for internal and client stakeholders
  • Assist in baseline schedule development and change management processes
  • Maintain proper documentation of schedule revisions, assumptions, and constraints
  • Support project controls functions including cost tracking and forecasting as needed
  • Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2Optics.


What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in project scheduling, construction, or project controls
  • Basic knowledge of scheduling principles (CPM, critical path, float, etc.) preferred
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling tools preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Internship or hands-on experience in construction or project environments preferred
  • Understanding of project lifecycle and construction sequencing preferred
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends or issues
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within project controls or scheduling discipline
  • Key competencies to include analytical thinking, time management, problem-solving, adaptability in a fast-paced environment and collaboration across cross-functional teams

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role requires sitting, use of hands and arms, verbal communication, and occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight and confined spaces. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
