The Laboratory IS Program Coordinator will facilitate communication, integration and problem solving with Beaker/Lab IT and Community Heath Teams and will be responsible for supporting the laboratory management team in coordinating select laboratory IS projects, upgrades, workflow improvements and other support functions. This role will ensure the laboratory is in accordance with all regulatory agencies and ensure all required documentation is in order and available to auditors. Additionally, the Laboratory IS Program Coordinator will participate in organizational and lab based quality improvement and compliance activities and reports to the Laboratory Billing and Compliance Program Manager.

Quality: Checks and controls quality and accuracy of work
Teamwork: Works within a team to achieve patient and team goals.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education:Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science or Information Systems or combination of the above. Graduate degree in healthcare related field preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing, sitting for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping, reaching and repetitive motion. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The starting base rate for this role is $33.27 hourly.
