Job Description

Title: Marketing Coordinator

Reporting to: Vice President, Marketing

Job Summary:

The position will support the Marketing department in carrying out the tasks and functions involved in promoting the company's worldwide small group tours through our catalogs, website, email, social media, and other marketing channels. In addition, this role will manage our photography and video assets, growing and maintaining our digital library and creating photo galleries, videos, and graphics to support our marketing efforts. This role requires a keen creative eye, strong organizational skills, clear written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Photography and Video Management: Manage our photography and video asset libraries. Solicit on-tour photo and video content from employee FAM participants, tour directors, and guests and also acquire photos of tour directors and hotels to use in our catalogs and on our website. Establish consistent identification standards, metadata process, and storage protocols. Collaborate with Senior Manager, Content Marketing to create digital galleries of photos and videos for use in our email campaigns, social media posts, website, and company videos.
  • Video and Graphic Creation: Create videos and marketing graphics to support our social media, email, and blog efforts.
  • Catalog Production: Assist VP with tasks related to catalog production, including conducting photo research for tours, intro pages, and catalog covers, conveying changes to design firm, and proofreading.
  • Collateral Production: Coordinate the creation of company marketing collateral (envelopes, letterhead, business cards, luggage tags, TD supplies, company SWAG, etc.) with design firm and vendors.
  • Online Review Platforms: Monitor online review platforms (TripAdvisor, Yelp, and Trust Pilot) for any new traveler reviews and work with VP and Senior Manager to draft responses and post as needed.
  • Competitor Research: Monitor our competitors' websites, print materials, emails, and social media for new announcements and policy changes.
  • Reporting: Assist Senior Manager in creation of monthly metrics reports for email blasts, website, and social media.
  • General Support: Support Marketing Team with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two to three years' marketing or related experience
  • Experience working with photography and video assets
  • Possesses a keen creative eye and an aptitude for visual storytelling
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously prioritizing tasks in a deadline driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating critical thinking
  • Proofreading skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to interact effectively with others and contribute to a team environment
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Express, Canva, or similar design software
  • A passion for international travel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, SEO, and creating metadata
  • Familiarity with the travel industry, direct marketing, and print production a plus
