Data Center Technician (Entry Level) - Hermiston, Boardman, Umatilla Overview We are seeking an Entry-Level Data Center Technician to support day-to-day data center operations in a highavailability environment. This role focuses on server support, incident response, and infrastructure troubleshooting while adhering to strict safety, security, and change management standards. Shift Options For the duration of the contract, candidates must be available for one of the following schedules: Sun - Wed * 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM * 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM * 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM * 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM Wed - Sat * 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM * 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM * 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM * 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM Key Responsibilities * Support data center operations and server hardware environments * Respond to and resolve incidents and tickets within SLA * Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for hardware, network, and infrastructure issues * Escalate issues and coordinate with engineering and network teams as needed * Work effectively under pressure in highavailability environments * Document procedures, incidents, and lessons learned Technical Skills * Data center operations and server support * Troubleshooting and incident response * Basic understanding of networking concepts and data center layouts * Fiber and copper cabling (installation, testing, labeling, and troubleshooting) * Optics handling and cleaning best practices Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Boardman, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
