Job Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire

Compensation: $55,000-$65,000/DOE + Benefits and Bonus Opportunity

BBSI has partnered with a growing multi-site logistics and distribution organization to identify a proactive and detail-oriented HR Specialist to support warehouse operations in Houston while also assisting additional East Coast locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced 3PL, warehouse, or distribution environment and enjoys supporting both people operations and administrative functions across multiple sites.

Position Overview

This role will serve as a key support partner to warehouse leadership, staffing agencies, and employees by helping drive recruiting coordination, onboarding, compliance, employee support, and HR administration across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruiting coordination, including interview scheduling and candidate communication
  • Partner with staffing agencies to manage hiring flow and workforce needs across multiple locations
  • Oversee onboarding processes and ensure completion of employment documentation (I-9s, W-4s, etc.)
  • Review timecards, attendance records, and payroll-related documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee files, HR records, and compliance documentation
  • Assist with employee relations support and day-to-day HR needs
  • Help ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and OSHA standards
  • Support audits, reporting, performance processes, and general office administration

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or 3PL environments required
  • Experience with recruiting coordination, onboarding, and employee file management
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with staffing agencies
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, payroll support, and timekeeping systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • AA or BA degree in Human Resources or related field required
