Job Description
The purpose of this position is to provide support to partnerships and scholarships related to Workforce Partnership Pathways initiatives for Harford Community College.

Duties include:

  • Develop and coordinate programming, course content, and activities related to Harford Leadership Academy
  • Lead, organize, and attend meetings and events related to Harford Leadership Academy / HLA Alumni Association
  • Process WCE student scholarship applications and related student enrollment information
  • Track WCE class progress and provide updates on student enrollment & certification competition as it relates to scholarships


Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement.
Required Education
Associate's degree
Required Experience
Minimum of five years of program management experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
* Computer proficiency in a Windows-based PC environment, including MS Office and Excel
* Strong customer service skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to manage projects
* Ability to work independently
* Event planning experience
* Ability to work and cooperate with co-workers and supervisors at all levels
* Ability to coordinate the activities of several ongoing project
* Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Ellucian Banner
* Experience with Destiny One
