Job Title: Commercial Sales Support Specialist

Location: Remote

What we're looking for:

We are seeking an organized, enthusiastic customer-facing professional to serve as a sales support specialist to coordinate internal resources to ensure timely responses to customer inquiries. The Commercial Sales Support Specialist provides operational, analytical, and administrative support to the commercial sales team. This role helps drive revenue growth by ensuring sales processes run efficiently, supporting customer communications, preparing proposals and reports, and coordinating internally to deliver excellent customer experience. This strategic role places you directly within the customer's environment, participating in their core planning, scheduling, and project teams. Your presence will deepen integration of our solutions, build unbreakable relationships, and create significant vendor lock-in through unparalleled schedule support alignment and value delivery.

What you'll be responsible for in this role:

Sales Team Support:

  • Analyze customer construction schedules aligning all product shipments. Set up meetings to coordinate with Refrigeration contractors, General Contractors, and Engineers of record to drive maximum efficiency for our product deployment plans.
  • Support commercial sales representatives and account managers in managing customer accounts.
  • Assist with preparation of quotes, proposals, contracts, and presentations.
  • Track sales opportunities and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.

Order and Deal Management:

  • Process customer orders and ensure accurate entry into internal systems.
  • Work with operations, finance, and planning teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Track order quote volume related to pipeline development and ensure customer and commercial leadership are able to better form long-term strategic planning for capital equipment.
  • Monitor deal status and assist in resolving issues that may impact delivery or customer satisfaction.

Customer Interaction:

  • Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding order status, documentation, and product information.
  • Act as key contact for the curriculum development process in customer process training; this includes development of hands-on learning activities, reviewing curriculum for accuracy, providing feedback to course writers, and participating in weekly review meetings.
  • Assist sales representatives with scheduling meetings and managing follow-up communication.
  • Support the onboarding of new customers and accounts.

Sales Operations & Reporting:

  • Support pipeline management and sales planning activities.

What are the basic qualifications?

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 2 years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or commercial operations OR 5 years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or commercial operations.
  • 2 years of experience working with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics).

What are the preferred qualifications?

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive with high autonomy in customer environments.
  • Experience contributing to strategic customer planning sessions, construction scheduling and engineering reviews is highly desirable.
  • Ideally have experience in manufacturing, industrial systems, high-tech equipment, automation, or complex capital equipment environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues under pressure and in real-time. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.

Work Arrangement : Remote

Pay Range: $69,000.00 - $124,000.00
