Health Assistant Paraprofessional: 2026-2027 School Year

The Richfield Public School District is currently accepting applications for a Health Assistant Paraprofessional at Richfield STEM Elementary. This position will serve as a non-licensed auxiliary healthcare worker and provide episodic, immediate care to injured/ill students and staff, and students with communicable and/or chronic diseases in a manner consistently compliant with all District health protocols, standing orders, and all other applicable regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

• High School or GED equivalent.
• 2 years of post-high school education in a healthcare field is preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Current Red Cross First Aid certificate preferred.
• Demonstrate understanding of and ability to work effectively with special needs students, including dealing with seizures and medical emergencies.
• Demonstrate computer literacy and competence with the building's / department's / District's current office technologies required to keep assigned student/program records.

Pay Rate: $23.19-$26.30 (Based on education and experience)
