About PRB: PRB is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit research organization focused on improving people's health and well-being through evidence-based policies and practices. Our staff analyze population data and ensure the research, and its applications are understood and used widely by decisionmakers, advocates, and media. Position Summary: PRB is seeking a Business Development Manager who will manage PRB's business development (BD) operations, with a focus on proposal management, pricing/budgeting, funder research, and internal knowledge management (KM). The Business Development Manager will be the primary staff member responsible for PRB's BD operations, managing multiple concurrent proposals with limited day-to-day oversight. Program staff contribute technical content, help identify opportunities, and manage relationships, but this person owns the BD process. The ideal candidate has managed proposal processes end to end and built proposal budgets from scratch across multiple funder types. Five years of directly relevant BD experience in a nonprofit setting is preferred; candidates with at least three years of experience (and strong interest and aptitude) are also encouraged to apply. The salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $100,000. Salary is commensurate with experience and considers internal equity. Compensation is based on the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's applicable experience, and relevant skills and qualifications.
