Overview

The Rancho Cucamonga site is part of SLB's Smith International division, focused on manufacturing, engineering, and sales of oilfield equipment and services.

What They Do (Core Work)

1. Engineering & Manufacturing



  • Design and produce drilling tools, components, and oilfield equipment
  • Work on mechanical systems used in drilling and production operations
  • Support product development, testing, and customization


2. Technical Sales & Commercial Operations



  • Act as a hub for proposal development (RFP/RFQ), pricing, and contracts
  • Work closely with clients to understand technical requirements and deliver solutions
  • Support third-party business growth (non-SLB internal customers)


3. Supply Chain & Operations



  • Manage production, inventory, and logistics of equipment
  • Support field operations by ensuring tools are ready for deployment


4. Customer & Market Engagement



  • Build relationships with oil & gas operators and service companies
  • Identify new opportunities and drive cross-selling / upselling strategies
