About Temecula Valley Hospital Nurse Manager - ICU Performs daily operational responsibilities including ensuring staff scheduled to support census, department has supplies/equipment to care for patients.Assumes responsibility for maintaining a high level of clinical expertise and adapts to new information, technology and changing trends in nursing practice.Is able to function as a clinical resource to maintain a high level of nursing standards.Follows all policies and provides oversight for staff on same.Able to function effectively during an emergency patient care situation.Displays positive traits and qualities needed for a successful Manager and has the ability to work with changes in the environment and participate as a team player.
