Could you be the full-time hybrid Deputy Program Manager in Pittsburgh, PA, US we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and program management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in driving program execution and achieving key Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives while ensuring alignment with safety, innovation, and customer-focused goals. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, program management, and cross-functional stakeholders), monitor program performance, coordinate work packages, and much more.

We'll look to you for:




  • Supporting the Program Manager in leading program development activities and delivering program baselines in line with the Engineering Management Plan (EMP) and QCD commitments ,



  • Monitoring and controlling assigned program aspects, including planning and delivery milestones, cost tracking (recurrent and non-recurrent), risks, issues, and mitigation actions, as well as performance and savings follow-up ,



  • Contributing to the definition and maintenance of the program roadmap, ensuring alignment with solution needs, requirements, safety, quality, competitiveness, customer orientation, and innovation ,



  • Supporting Delivery On-Time commitments (IOT/DOT - IOT-i/DOT-i), including change impact analysis and execution tracking ,



  • Preparing and consolidating inputs for program reporting (QCD, risks, planning, costs) under the guidance of the Program Manager ,



  • Coordinating assigned Work Packages, including capacity/resource analysis, risk identification, and mitigation plans in line with the Program Development Organization (PDO) ,



  • Ensuring execution of Gate, Design, and Peer Review decisions, tracking actions and follow-up to closure ,



  • Preparing and supporting Program Reviews (MPR, CPR), including consolidation of data, action tracking, and contribution to QCD reporting for PRB and platform/R&D governance ,



  • Driving or supporting improvement action plans (efficiency, competitiveness, delivery robustness) within the program scope ,



  • Proactively supporting management of critical topics, including safety, cybersecurity, and major availability issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. ,



  • Experience or understanding of project, sub-system, or program execution for software systems. ,



  • Knowledge of the engineering product development lifecycle. ,



  • Familiarity with cost, planning, and risk monitoring in an engineering context. ,



  • Strong coordination, communication, and teamwork skills. ,



  • Ability to anticipate risks and support mitigation planning. ,



  • Structured and analytical mindset. ,



  • Data analytics and digital skills, including experience with Power BI (building and maintaining dashboards, KPIs, and performance views). ,



  • Usage of Power Query for data extraction, transformation, and consolidation from multiple sources. ,



  • Familiarity with automation of reporting and data preparation processes (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
