Our customer is looking for an Engineer Systems 3 to support our ANS department. As a member of the ANS department you"ll get to apply ModelBased Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo and DOORS to support development of a system architecture, conduct functional and tradestudy analyses, and translate customer requirements into detailed specifications across the full product lifecycle-from concept through disposal. This position will serve on-site in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:
*Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
*Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
*Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
*Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications for Engineer Systems 3:

Bachelor's degree in systems, Software, or related STEM degree field with 5 years of experience; or 3 years' experience with a Master's (MS) degree; or 1 year experience with a STEM PhD.

Experience in systems engineering:
*Experience in system requirements development, management, and analysis.
*Experience with MBSE, software design, or demonstrated ability to work with software-aided design tools.
*The ability to adhere to Program security requirements while performing work.
*The ability to effectively communicate with engineers and management from multiple disciplines.
*Demonstrated communication and technical writing skills.
*Must be a US Citizen.

CLEARANCE:
*A current/active DoD Secret clearance.
*Must currently have SAP or must be able to obtain and maintain SAP

Preferred Qualifications for Engineer Systems 3:
*Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
*Electrical Engineering.
*Aerospace Engineering.
*Computer Engineering.
*An active DoD Top Secret clearance.
*Working knowledge of MBSE tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody, Sparx EA, and/or Enterprise Architect.
*Experience working on military / spacecraft systems.
*Experience with complex system development on large programs.
*Experience in developing, managing, and decomposing requirements.
*Experience in system architecture, CONOPs, or model-based system engineering.
*Experience in ICD, IRS, and IDD development and integration.
*Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders.
*Agile Systems Engineering Experience.
*Experience in Cost Account Management (CAM).
*Experience in SysML or UPDM modeling languages.
*Proficiency with the DoDAF, UAF, or other modeling frameworks.
*Multifaceted in technical management.
*SysML Certification.
*INCOSE Participation or CSEP certification.
