Summary
Responsible for supporting and/or facilitating large and small group camp activities for campers, such as imaginative play, splash day, sports, games, outdoor education, and arts and crafts. Responsible for the general safety and well-being of the campers. Act as role models of respect and citizenship toward campers, colleagues, and the community. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Plan, lead, and take part in various indoor and outdoor activities. -Create a fun and safe environment for all kids. -Continuously assess the safety of camp spaces and equipment and report any issues with equipment, facility, or behavior to the program manager. -Communicate with parents and guardians daily- getting to know them by name and keeping them abreast of their child's afternoon. -Provide accurate information to parents and guardians in regard to ongoing and upcoming youth programs, aquatics, and supervised youth and adult sports. -Distribute and collect any necessary paperwork or notifications to parents and guardians.
