Your role
The National Account Manager is strategic and forward thinking with a long-term vision for providing an unbeatable customer experience. The successful candidate will serve as the internal liaison between customers and different Divisions within Power Technique North America Multibrand - - to support full customer engagement, product penetration and a 360-degree customer experience. You will report to the VP/Business Line Manager - APE.
The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Drivingsustainable profitable growth with major key accounts by driving customer experience to be "first in mind, first in choice".
- Account management - identifying and developing strong professional relationships in different levels aimed at creating customer intimacy and loyalty.
- Driving commercial / pricing strategy for the assigned product range in coordination with VP/BLM.
- Exploring new business opportunities to up and cross sell while effectively leveraging resources.
- Transforming day-to-day business operations and training materials to digital platforms.
- Providing reports, using the different company's applications including the CRM system, as needed to give transparency for both, company and customers into business processes, including order status tracking.
- Maintaining customer contacts and communication inputs and work with the local team for customer success.
- Improving the market position and competitive situation of the company.
- Planning seasonal equipment and service requirements with customers and serve as an expeditor for customer orders.
- Facilitating response to specific customer requests with internal departments and manage control functions to meet and/or exceed customer expectations.
- Implementing initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiencies through negotiation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Planning customer specific marketing strategies, actions, promotions, and business planning and forecasts.
- Collaborating closely with the regional teams as well as the service centers
- Engaging the marketing team to improve the division's digital communication channels and methods of reaching the customers, including improving the company's digital presence, specifically to improve the customer experience in accessing on-line digital manuals, requests for quotations, product information, etc.

Experience:
The successful candidate will have:
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales with a proven track record in sales and/or sales management, business development management or business line management in Customer Centers.
- Specialist in Portable Air with good experience on pneumatic and hydraulic Tools.
- A strong interest in sales processes and marketing.
- An understanding of the different success factors in the sales strategy.
- An understanding of the customer buying cycle and the ability to translate this into a solid vision on how to bring future sales processes into alignment with this.
- A solid understanding of the current way to market, sales processes, and challenges.
Education:
This position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, sales, marketing or related, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Travel:
This position requires extensive travel (over 60% of the time) as needed to coordinate activities.

This position will supervise a Strategic Account Specialist.
