Sr Lot Operations Specialist (Manheim)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Gains familiarity with Lot Operations concepts, practices, and methodologies.
  • Maintains constant communication with commercial accounts, customer support, quadrant and account coordinators, supervisors, and other auction personnel to ensure effective coordination of lot operations activities.
  • Answers telephones to provide support to Lot Operations employees and customers.
  • Responds to customer requests for assistance and ensure timely resolution.
  • Processes all Lot Operations' paperwork, forwarding invoices and items to be posted to appropriate areas in a timely manner.
  • Assists with coordination of sale day lineup and execution of sale day activities (e.g., drive, assisting customers in locating vehicles, etc.)
  • Follows all job-related safety and health procedures.
  • Learns and complies with Lot Operations' standards and policies.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by strictly following all safety and health protocols and setting an example through appropriate actions.
  • Actively participate in advancing all safety initiatives in line with Safety initiatives
  • Assists with special projects as assigned.


Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years' experience. OR 7 years' experience in a related field.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • Effective communication and organization skills required.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential.


Preferred:

  • Prior experience in vehicle reconditioning, general auto body knowledge, etc. helpful.
  • Satisfactory computer skills and the ability to utilize a portable terminal, brick, etc. preferred.


Work Environment:

  • Frequent exposure to outside weather conditions.


USD 20.10 - 30.10 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $20.10 - $30.10/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
