Electrical Estimator

IES Electrical is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator for work in Nebraska. Office locations include Kearney, Grand Island, Norfolk and Holdrege.

As an Electrical Estimator, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate, competitive bids that support our projects from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

* Estimating commercial and industrial projects (plan/spec, design-build, and design-assist).
* Applying best practices and established estimating procedures.
* Coordinating project scopes with local and national codes.
* Working closely with material suppliers and subcontractors.
* Managing requests for information (RFIs) throughout the bidding process.
* Reviewing and qualifying quotes for specialized materials and subcontractor work.
* Preparing proposal letters, bid forms and turnover packages on awarded projects.
* Interacting with customers and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
* Recent experience or education in electrical field work, estimating, or engineering.
* Working knowledge of blueprints, specifications, applicable codes, and regulations.
* Able to work in one of our Nebraska offices.
* Strong computer skills, including the ability to work efficiently with estimating software.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Must successfully pass a post-offer background check, drug test and motor vehicle record check.
