Description

We are seeking a skilled Budget Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position will provide essential financial support by monitoring and reporting on the execution of funds for a variety of impactful programs. This role involves gathering, compiling, and analyzing financial data to develop insightful reports and respond to data requests. You will have the opportunity to communicate directly with customers, discussing funding issues and tasking requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring program funds and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Use intermediate Excel skills to analyze financial data and create detailed reports.
  • Advise managers on financial implications of policy changes, workload shifts, and program requirements.
  • Communicate regularly with government customers to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Apply guidelines and regulations from DoD, NAVSEA, NAVAIR, and other entities to advise on financial issues.
  • Use initiative to interpret policies and guidelines for unique situations.
Requirements
  • ERP Skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office/Excel skills.
  • Basic understanding and familiarity with DoD Spend Plans, NWAs, DTS, ODC breakouts, ZFD PR requests and SOW forms for outgoing funding documents.
  • Bachelor's preferred or 5 years direct experience in Business and Financial Operations Occupation Field.
  • Ability to obtain / maintain a government clearance at Secret level.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • An interest in learning and developing within government contracting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Reliable attendance and a commitment to confidentiality.
