As an Access Control Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help manage site access for authorized personnel and visitors. This role combines a visible presence with strong customer service, communication, and professionalism. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor access control points by verifying identification, authorizations, and/or visitor credentials before permitting entry to restricted and controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents, policy violations, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, entry points, and perimeter areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document daily activity, access events, and/or unusual occurrences, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
