As a Security Officer Patrol Rover in Westlake, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity according to site protocols, reporting concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and document observations, incidents, and/or daily activities with accuracy and attention to site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
