Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

    Manages all Human Resources functions for selective business units/locations.
  • Oversees external business partners engaged for select services and assignments
  • Works with department managers on human resources planning, strategy and operations issues. Makes recommendations to Director, Human Resources.
  • Participates in the annual HR PY budgeting process for select services and assignments
  • Implements personnel policies and procedures. Recommends new approaches to affect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Works with managers to determine staffing needs and selects appropriate recruitment methods. Conducts internal and external recruitment to identify qualified candidates by coordinating staffing requisitions for personnel. Places job postings, job orders, and advertisements using various media.
  • Administers the pre-employment screening and interview process. Assists management in the selection process and extends employment offers. Coordinates relocation process, when applicable. Participates in new employee orientation process.
  • Administers the termination process, including exit interviews. Analyzes trends in turnover and makes appropriate recommendations to management.
  • Responsible for administering the affirmative action program and/or diversity initiatives.
  • Assists managers in staff counseling and development. Develops corrective action program when necessary and monitors through final disposition.
  • May train management and designated personnel in employment and related administrative functions. Monitors performance/metrics program.
  • Advises managers of salary ranges for exempt and non-exempt classifications or region/country specific benchmarking. Consults with managers in the preparation of salary administration and checks for fair, equitable, and competitive compensation practices.
  • Coordinates Employee Relations Programs. May serve as advisor for Employee Clubs of locations serviced.
  • Assists with the identification and notification of Workers' Compensation to the Manager of Employee Benefits or country equivalent and assists third party administrators regarding claims management. Acts in concert with objectives of safety and health programs by monitoring workplace with operations.
  • Assists with Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and other special programs as identified.
  • Serves as company representative in both professional and civic organizations, including SHRM or country specific equivalent, regional HR organizations, university and college professional experience programs, and others as required.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related area required; Human Resources Certification required.
  • Minimum ten (10) years exempt-level Human Resources experience required, with minimum five (5) years supervisory experience.
  • Computer knowledge required.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000/year depending on location, education, depth of relevant experience, and any specialized licensure/certifications. Opportunity for ample rewards, leadership incentive components, and generous bonus opportunities.
