POSITION SUMMARY:

This position coordinates and schedules all receiving to the facility and makes sure that inventory is properly placed in its appropriate locations. Also responsible for coordinating and entering all necessary transactions into the JD Edwards system. The Receiving and Inventory Coordinator schedules all shipping from the plant and ensures that it reaches its appropriate destination. This position is also responsible for identifying and eliminating errors in inventory accuracy and for eliminating tagged inventory for cost savings because of the required downtime and loss of production.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  • Receive inventory using JD Edwards tracking system. Assemble and maintain product specifications and provide technical support for the development of new items. Reviews deliveries and materials against Bills of Materials and receives as inventory.
  • Conducts ongoing cycle counts of inventory. Researches and corrects inventory errors.
  • Operates forklift, camp trucks, box clamps, slip sheeter and walkie-riders.
  • Coordinates with Warehouse shipping/receiving to make transfers, adjustments, and correct errors in inventory counts.
  • Ensures rejected materials are properly separated from good materials.
  • Carefully review all important or contractual paperwork completed with the department, including all required record keeping, minimizing problems or potential liabilities.
  • Keep an accurate account of the flow of incoming raw goods and inventory.
  • Schedule appointments by receiving incoming phone calls/emails for appointment requests while also verifying and ensuring that the purchase order is material for the plant. Reschedule appointments as needed.
  • Load and unload pallets and move them from the dock to the appropriate location in the warehouse. Perform counts to verify physically received versus purchase order.
  • Sign for inbound mail/freight. Ship packages via FedEx (ground shipments completed by 3pm, and air shipments completed by 4pm).
  • Handle all item setups for the warehouse, production and routing. Perform other JD Edwards super user functions including, but not limited to: building/deleting locations, running reports, performing daily maintenance, etc.
  • Coordinate loads of raw material into the warehouse. Load and coordinate finished good loads to TR warehouse as required. Provides guidance to the material handlers regarding daily activities.

Product Security Sensitive - As a product sourcing facility, our customers require Iatric to possess security standards and procedures to guard against the introduction of unmanifested cargo, such as illegal drugs, explosives, weapons and people into outbound shipments. This position has contact or influence over these outbound shipments and is considered Product Security Sensitive.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)



  • High school diploma/GED required, some college preferred plus four (4) years of warehouse experience including experience in warehouse functions of JD Edwards, J2, J3, X2, X3, X4, PL, P9, TH and forklift experience.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task and solve issues in a timely manner with good time management skills

  • Work environment includes occasional noise >85db, hot and cold temperatures and some fumes/odors
  • Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision
