Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Intern.

In this role, the successful candidate The Digital Solutions team is a lean and dedicated group of professionals who work very closely with all departments in our organization. The team builds and maintains NYU (New York University) Langones public websites and drives many of the organizations application technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities

The interns responsibilities include the following:

Working with the web development team

Working with Solution Architect on building a custom micro-services-based application with AWS (Amazon WebServices) Serverless

Partake in the design, development,and testing of a custom application using CI/CD and agile methodologies

Implementing frontend using REACTJS technology

Attend Agile ceremonies such as standups and planning meetings

Ideal candidate

We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate team player on the path to becoming a great application developer. Experience with Python/HTML/CSS/JavaScript is required. Basic understanding of web application structure and dataflow is required. Some experience with AWS Lambda, micro-services architecture REACT JS is strongly preferred. Familiarity with PHP and JavaScript is preferred. Must have the ability to work independently to solve problems and learn new skills as required.

Additional Position Specific Responsibilities:
Work with a senior NYULH software engineer to prototype and test various chatbot technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Requirement
- Currently major in Computer Science/Computer Engineering of a BS/BE program or a high school student entering college
- Participated and has hands on coding experience in projects related to web application development using Python/HTML/CSS/JavaScript and open-source technologies
- Highly motivated and willing to work in a dynamic team environment

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
