Summary:
The Field Operations Assistant is responsible for validating, coding, and routing all production field operations personnel vendor tickets in the OpenTicket platform. Other responsibilities include running weekly cost reports for field personnel as needed, assisting production reporting team with the field oil and water transport tickets and shipping/delivering to Midland corporate office, data entry into various systems, managing and maintaining field office supplies and organization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the coding and invoicing process as well as entering costs into the internal tracking system
  • Provide a wide variety of administrative and staff support services to one or more field office sites
  • Responsible for operating office equipment and utilizing various software applications. This includes tasks performed both individually and in support of others within the department.
  • Adhere to established protocols and comprehensive instructions when carrying out both routine and complex operations, such as developing open ticket vendor compliance guidelines, managing supply inventories, and overseeing re-stocking procedures.
  • Perform data entry, and reviews reports or documentation for accuracy
  • Maintain office supply, field office organization and inventories, and coordinate the maintenance of office equipment

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Five (5+) years of demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening, communication, and data entry skills
  • Exhibit a professional attitude both verbally and in writing along with excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as an administrative assistant working for an oil and gas company
  • Ability to be proactive in identifying and addressing issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities, multi-task and change direction in a variety of workplace situations
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
