SEEKS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES Actively participate in expanding skill set by attending training programs, workshops, certifications, and educational resources relevant to the role. This includes keeping up on industry trends, CE's required by regulatory agencies and expanding knowledge of products and services offered. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential position requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below: 4-year degree in related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in Wealth Management, in a financial institution preferred. Prior sales and new business development experience required. Proven experience advising clients on investments, pre- and post-retirement planning, education planning and financial planning. FINRA Series 7, 63, 66 and NY Life & Health license are preferred, but not required. A background screening will be conducted.
This position operates in a professional office environment with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions with others. May be required to lift 30 pounds in weight. Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
