Description The Enterprise Operations Center Specialist-Lead provides senior technical and operational leadership for 24x7x365 Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) services under the SEC IT support contract. This role serves as the focal point for enterprise operational concerns, ensuringtimelyincident detection, triage, escalation, and stakeholder communication tomaintainservice continuity. The Lead supervises EOC personnel,establishesgoals and plans aligned to projectobjectives, and ensures operational documentation and training are current across all shifts. The position also supports operational maturity through reporting, trend analysis, and continuous process improvement aligned to SEC mission needs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES -Enterprise Operations Leadership - Provide technical and management leadership across enterprise tasks and technology assignments within the EOC. - Supervise day-to-day EOC operations tomaintaincontinuous awareness of infrastructure health, availability, capacity, and performance. -Establishoperational goals, priorities, and execution plans that align with projectobjectivesand SEC mission requirements. - Serve as the primary focal point for enterprise operations concerns and cross-team coordination. - May require participation in on-call or surge support activities depending on operational needs Incident Management and Escalation - Lead end-to-end incident response activities, including detection, triage, prioritization, escalation, and restoration of normal operations. - Ensure high-priority incidents are managed throughtimelycoordination with required technical and business stakeholders. - Deliveraccurate,timelyincident lifecycle communications, including initial notices, status updates, and closure messaging. - Ensure problems are controlled, recognized, researched, tracked, and escalated to theappropriate resolutionparties. Operational Process, Documentation, and Training -Maintainand improve EOC SOPs, runbooks, and escalation procedures to support repeatable, high-quality operations. - Coordinate periodic review and update of operational documentation used by EOC staff and dependent support teams. - Ensure EOC personnel are trained on tools, workflows, and standard procedures, including onboarding and ongoing skills development. - Enforce disciplined shift handoff practices with clear documentation of key events, risks, and follow-up actions. Monitoring, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement - Oversee monitoring and operational visibility functions, including dashboard and alert effectiveness across enterprise systems. - Support operational use of enterprise monitoring and service management platforms to improve event correlation and response efficiency. - Analyze incident trends and recurring issues, and coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions. - Drive service improvement through recurring operational reviews, performance reporting, and maturity roadmap planning. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS -Ability to obtain andmaintainSEC Public Trust (or higher ifrequired). - This position is restricted to U.S. citizens only. Applicants must not hold dual citizenship with any other country to be eligible for work under this contract - Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience managing a complex enterprise operations center, providing technical leadership and supervision of operations. -Demonstratedexperience providing technical and management leadership across enterprise tasks and technology assignments. - Experience serving as the focal point for operational concerns,establishinggoals and plans that meet projectobjectives, and ensuringtimelyproblem control, recognition, research, and escalation. - Experience coordinating review and update of operational documentation and ensuring staff training and readiness. - Experience supervising operations teams and managing incident response, prioritization, escalation, and service restoration processes. - Experience supporting 24x7x365 enterprise operations in a high-availability environment. Technical Skills: - Matrix-aligned core skills: enterprise operations leadership,incidentand escalation management, EOC documentation governance, and workforce training coordination. - PWS-informed operational skills: 24x7x365 monitoring and service continuity management, major incident coordination, and stakeholder communications. - PWS-informed process skills: SOP/runbook development, shift handoff reporting, incident trend analysis, and corrective action tracking. - PWS-informed platform skills: enterprise monitoring, observability, and ITSM platform familiarity to support large-scale operations environments. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience leading enterprise operations support in a U.S. federal agency environment. - ITIL-based major incident/problem management leadership in high-availability operations. - Experience implementing andoptimizingobservability dashboards, alerting, and operational reporting frameworks. - Proven ability to brief senior leadership and coordinate cross-functional/cross-vendor technical response teams. - Experience conducting EOC maturity assessments and building continuous improvement roadmaps. - ITIL 4 Foundation (or higher) - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent ITSM certification - Datadog certification (or comparable enterprise monitoring certification) If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
