Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Real-Time Payments Position Summary We are seeking a mid-level Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support and enhance real-time payment services, including Zelle integrations and API-driven platforms. This role requires strong technical expertise in observability, incident management, and high-availability systems. Key Responsibilities * Support and manage real-time payment systems (e.g., Zelle instant payments) * Work with API platforms, specifically Google Apigee * Monitor system health and performance using observability tools * Lead troubleshooting efforts and support incident/problem management * Partner with engineering teams to improve system reliability and scalability * Implement best practices for system uptime, alerting, and resiliency Required Qualifications * Experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or similar role * Strong understanding of real-time payment processing systems * Hands-on experience with: * AWS (cloud infrastructure) * Containers (Docker/Kubernetes preferred) * Splunk and Dynatrace (monitoring/observability) * Experience with API management platforms (Apigee preferred) * Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills Preferred Qualifications * Financial services or banking experience * Exposure to high-transaction, low-latency systems Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.
